Warangal : 67th Independence Day celebrations were held on a grand scale at Kapil House at Subedari in Hanamkonda on Thursday. Kapil Group president U Krishna Mohan hoisted the national flag and paid floral tributes to the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi.
Delivering Independence Day speech, Mr U Krishna Mohan stated that several people laid down their lives to attain independence, and it was everybody’s responsibility to safeguard it. Advising the employees of Kapil Group to move closer to the people, he asked them to take part in the philanthropic activities. A blood donation camp was organised to mark the occasion.
AGM Satyanarayana said that blood donation camp by their staff members and well wishers was held in association with Red Cross Society. Started as a small company 33 years ago, Kapil Group is now one of the biggest organisations in Andhra Pradesh in the service of the people.
