Warangal: The national leaders of Telangana Rashtriya Lok Dal (TRLD) were planning to meet A K Antony Committee on Monday in New Delhi. The party secretary general K Dileep Kumar and state unit president Md Riyaz have told press persons here on Sunday that they would submit a memorandum for the consideration of the committee.

Speaking to press persons here on Sunday Dilip Kumar informed that they would present demands regarding allocation of funds to maintain supernumerary posts and other issues. He said the division of employees would be made according to the constitutional provisions.

None could force the employees go away from Telangana and they could continue to serve here as long as they want. The employees would be given an option and those wishing to serve here could do so as the government could create additional posts.

The interests of Telangana employees could be protected as their quota of employment would be given to them. “If the there were any additional Andhra employees as pointed out by Girglani Committee and 610 GO and they wish to serve here, the centre has to provide funds for their salaries” he added.

The comments being made by the leaders of Seemandhra and Telangana over safety of settlers, employees, assets and others were meaningless. There were enough laws in the country that ensures the safety of all the citizens without any bias. If needed special legislations could be made.

He said that the Seemandhra leaders were asking revenue share in Hyderabad and that should not be allowed. Hyderabad as common capital for 10 years could be allowed but share in the revenues should not be given. Regarding the water share it should be done as per the existing norms. The TRLD would launch a programme seeking proper political representation to SC/ST, BCs and Minorities in new Telangana state. The programme would be started on September 17, would be observed as ‘Telangana Reconstruction Diwas’ marking the Liberation of Hyderabad, informed Riyaz.
