Colours

  • Going for loud colors such as bright red and oranges are not very trendy this season. One can play it down with maroon and gold, rose gold, lavender grey, ivory etc. Using gold is the key to look trendy and beautiful.

  • Try heavy jewellery on light colors. Big earrings or statement necklace.

Trending Outfits

  • Regular sarees are getting replaced by comfortable shararas/palazzos and full-length dress-like suits with light weight dupattas.
  • Harem pants and dhoti style pants have also been gaining popularity this season.

Few fashion tips this festive season, as per body type

  • Women with a heavy upper body can try layering with embroidered jackets on suits to give a slimming appearance. They can also try contrasting colors like blue and orange, red and green or yellow and purple.
  • Ponchos and capes are another popular trend, particularly in fabrics such as net, organza or fine silks. This also creates slimming effect.

• If lower body is heavy then please avoid churidars and replace them with straight pants or palazzos and do add heels.
tIf upper body is toned then crop top is a great idea along with full length flared skirt/dhoti style pants.

Tips for wearing sarees
as per body type -

  • Off shoulder blouses, shoulder slit blouses and boat necklines are also great for toned arms and to show off your collar bones.
  • Try a slim fit petticoat for making your lower body look slim.
  • Wear a single or solid color in Saree with an embroidered blouse, if your upper body is heavy
  • If you are heavy on the stomach, avoid a low waist look and wear your petticoat above the navel.
  • Avoid heavy and bulky fabrics such as raw silk that may be difficult to manage and can make your body appear fuller and disproportionate.
