Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies students win Maverick Season V
Team ‘Incredible Inc.’ from IMT, Ghaziabad emerged as the runners-up for the programme. The winning team won a prize money of Rs 3 lakh and the runners-up team won prize money of Rs 1.5 lakh.
Hyderabad: Deloitte concluded the grand finale of its industry-academia connect programme Campus Maverick. Team ‘Read Mould Deliver’ from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai was announced the winner of the fifth season of Deloitte’s Campus Maverick program.
Team ‘Incredible Inc.’ from IMT, Ghaziabad emerged as the runners-up for the programme. The winning team won a prize money of Rs 3 lakh and the runners-up team won prize money of Rs 1.5 lakh.Deloitte’s Campus Maverick this year saw an overwhelming response with 15,500 management students of leading business schools across the country participating in Season V of the programme.
Three additional competitions - ‘War of Bands’, ‘Be the One’, and ‘Roll the Reel’ were also held on the sidelines of Maverick to provide a platform for students to showcase their talent, giving them the opportunity to unleash their creative skills. Commenting on the Season V of Campus Maverick, SV Nathan, Partner and Chief Talent Officer, Deloitte Shared Services India LLP, said, “This year’s Maverick Season V witnessed participation from 132 B-schools, which was indeed overwhelming.
We were impressed by the outstanding talent that the B-Schools sent for Maverick. The students in turn went back experiencing a glimpse of the world-class culture Deloitte is known for. This initiative helped us identify students capable of ideating innovative solutions and addressing today’s business challenges.
We also focused on their leadership qualities along with their abilities to work within a team. Notably, their active involvement in the area of social responsibility emerged as an interesting trend this year.”The program saw over 100 shortlisted teams participate in the regional rounds, in a multi-stage elimination format. Winners from each of the regional rounds travelled to Deloitte’s Hyderabad office to participate in the challenge for ‘The Mavericks’.
