We are in the 21st century and the lifestyle is same in rural and urban areas. As the families have turned nuclear and with both working parents, I don’t think leaving child alone is a good idea.

So, a six day school week is good idea. However, I would be even greater if one day is a “No Book Day”. The children should be allowed to play games, do any activity which they love. This way, the talent of a child can also be explored.
There is both entertainment and learning for the children at the same time. Being home, we will not get a chance to enjoy, as we will be alone and have no one to play with. We end up playing video games, which is again not very good. I feel school is our second home and we can always enjoy a six day school week.

Yes, a six-day school week is a good idea. It will give parents one day a week to be off of work without their children. This will allow them to recharge.
It will also make teachers finally earn their extra salaries. They get three months off a year, the least they can do is work six days a week.

Attending six day school in a week is very long and boring. So I think six day school week is not a good idea. Two days off each week is most needed. We have some time off to relax and become motivated again to go to school.
I can say that 5 days gives teachers more time to teach and allows students to have enough time to learn. It is because the children can get optimal learning time.
The levels of stress in today’s competitive education environment is also quite high, hence rest helps the students recharge for the following week. The students are deprived of spending time with their parents during the week.
Like our rural and agricultural based states the education system should be designed on convenience to the students so that they would be free on weekends to help with crops.

Yes, a six-day school a week is a good idea. As we know that every minute is important for us. Moreover school life is even more important. It gives an opportunity to settle in our career.
For this students need timely rest to refresh their mind and mood. Weekend holidays are important and exciting for me. It lessens my week long burden. I have never felt irritating on any weekend.
I feel a Sunday is enough to start a fresh Monday. School is the best place for the children to flourish in their lives. The amount of work at school as well as the amount of rest should be proportional.
I strongly agree that a six day school week is a good idea to create the healthy learning atmosphere.
