Hyderabad: “Once we enter into sports it is obvious that we keep growing stronger with every passing day. Not just physically but also mentally” says 14 year old Sunskrithi Damera from Cal Public School, Hyderabad, who has made an identity for herself at 5th Asian Schools Tennis Championships. She dreams to participate in many more championships and wish to play for India and evolve as a global player.

As a tennis player needs to be disciplined, dedicated and committed to the goal, she needs to travel worldwide to participate in various tournaments. For Sunskrithi, education and sports play a vital and equal role in life.

“It is not just the skills that are needed to outshine in our country. We need money which is one of the main resources that helps us to climb the ladder of success” shares Sunskrithi who is looking for sponsors.

An average tennis player in India playing at the professional level is likely to spend around 30 lakh per annum. And for girls it is even more a bumpy road of success path.

Sunskrithi don’t just want to back out from doing something which she loves. She doesn’t want to burden her family with such phenomenal expenses and is waiting for supporters.
