The 7th annual founders\' day of the premier educational institution Suchitra Academy was celebrated with much pomp and gaiety here in the city. The event was marked by a musical drama presented by the students depicting India\'s 5000-year-old rich history, culture, the tradition in a phased manner.

The event was marked by a musical drama presented by the students depicting India's 5000-year-old rich history, culture, the tradition in a phased manner.
The school founder Chairman,. Krishnama Raju was honoured with a mesmerising musical masterpiece- 'Attet Ke Rang, Vartman Ke Sang' (India through the ages) The chief guest for the day was Major General N Srinivas Rao, GOC, Telangana and Andhra Sub area.
The programme began with a welcome song and dance which was followed by the school report presented by Mrs. Renu Shorey, Director Principal.
The report highlighted the achievements of the school. Most notable amongst the achievements being the world class training at the Suchitra Badminton Academy and the remarkable results it is getting nationally and internationally.
In addition to it being an action-packed entertainer with children from Grades IV-IX participating, the musical drama took us through the most defining moments of our history, the dramatic revolutions that influenced and changed us- our politics, culture and lifestyle.
The 2-hour-long digital presentation by nearly 200-odd students in their colourful attires has literally enthralled the parents and other participants. The programme ended on a crescendo with students walking down from among the audience with balloons fitted with LED lamps to the tune of 'Tum Chalo, Hindustan chale'.
The Chief Guest Major General N. Srinivas Rao addressed the students and parents and complimented the amazing show for its one of a kind theme, research, action, music and artistry.
Addressing the gathering at the end of the event, the General-Officer-in Command (GoC) for both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Major General N. Srinivasa Rao called upon all the students to follow the preachings of Swamy Vivekananda and mould their futures meaningfully.
While appreciating the management of Suchitra Academy for deciding on such a beautiful theme for presenting on this occasion, the Major General wanted all corporate educational institutions to emulate this to make their kids into worthful citizens to serve this country.
The Managing Director of Suchitra Academy Praveen Raj said that the thrust would be given on inculcating the quality of safeguarding the great culture of this country among students of his institute and complimented the Director Principal Renu Shorey and her team for devising such an innovative and remarkable theme. The Vice Principal Deepa Kapoor proposed the vote of thanks.
