The Department of Foreign Languages at Glendale Academy International organised the First Edition of the Bonjour India Inter-School French Festival 2017 at its school campus on Saturday with support from Republique Française, Istitut Français, India, and Alliance Française, Hyderabad.   

Hyderabad: The Department of Foreign Languages at Glendale Academy International organised the First Edition of the Bonjour India Inter-School French Festival 2017 at its school campus on Saturday with support from Republique Française, Istitut Français, India, and Alliance Française, Hyderabad.

The aim of the festival is to promote Indo-French friendship. Students from grades 6 to 10 from noted schools of the city participated in the festival. The event was inaugurated by Emmanuel Samson, Attaché for Cooperation in French Language for the Southern India’s States, Embassy of France.

Spread across different venues within the school campus, the festival included an interesting mix of events: Music/Karoke and Dance; French/Indian Cuisine (preparation and presentation); Painting, Photography and Fashion Work; PPT presentations; Quiz & Indoor Games. Participation in the events provided students the opportunity to showcase the language, culture, cuisine and fashion of France to a largely Indian audience.
