New Delhi: Online job portal Shine.com has launched a career marketplace 'Shine Learning' that seeks to bridge the gap between talent and employment opportunities.

The platform will offer more than 500 courses based on industry demands in line with various skill sets. The platform will use an algorithm that not only forecasts emerging skill sets but also recommends courses to candidates after analysing their resume and application history.

The platform will offer industry and government recognised certifications, course recommendations, user reviews and a variety of more than 500 courses from leading digital learning solutions providers across the globe.

"There is a vacuum at both employee and recruiter ends in terms of required skill set. With Shine Learning, our focus was to tap into the growing e-learning category as the industry displays huge growth prospects," Shine.com CEO Zairus Master said.

He further noted that, "Innovation is what will give us a competitive edge in on Monday's dynamic market. The objective was to prepare India for the future.

" Shine Learning will use data (both recruiters' and candidates') to map demands of various skill sets across industries, predict emerging skill shortage areas and provide courses on that basis.
"The platform will integrate predictive analysis and data science to provide most in-demand up-skilling courses which cater to different industries and increases employability," he said.

Shine Learning has partnered with Skillsoft India, Digital Vidya, Tax Sutra, Get Cert Go, Grey Campus and many others to provide courses and industry-recognised certifications to its users. The courses come with flexible study options, giving an edge to professionals who can work and learn at the same time.
