Hyderabad: ‘Bad habits come easy to the addict, but it is very difficult to come out. That’s why it is better to keep away from bad habits’ ISKCON Swamiji Shri Radha Pramod Das opined. He delivered a guest lecture at GITAM (Deemed to be University) here on Saturday. The programme was organised by National Service Scheme (NSS) in association with Lions Club International, Jubilee Hills.
“Sharpen the best to bring out the best within you, but the process is painful. Come out with best, but it depends on whom we are associating. Commit a mistake, but you can correct it” Swamiji told the large gathering.
We are able to achieve success based on the power of faith, he said. Continuously create habits because habits unconsciously dictate your life, he cautioned. “Accept responsibility. You have to save yourself from bad habits. Changes come from observation.
We should be disciplined in our life. Maya looks very attractive but kills” Swamiji exhorted to the GITAMITES. Earlier, Prof. N Siva Prasad, Pro Vice-Chancellor, GITAM-Hyderabad felicitated Swamiji. Prof. GA Rama Rao, Principal, School of Science, Prof. GS Kumar, Principal, School of Pharmacy, Dr. PV Nagendra Kumar, Coordinator, NSS, Lion Padmavathi also took part in the session.
