Hyderabad: A high-profile team, spearheaded by E Venkataiah, advisor to Government of Karnataka, Social Welfare and Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions Society (KREIS) visited TSWR School in Gowlidoddi on Wednesday.

The team showered lavish praises for the diligence with which the TSWR School was giving wings to the academic dreams of thousands of students.

They were particularly appreciative of the efforts of the faculty, which both government and corporate educational institutions should emulate, especially the innovative student empowerment programmes initiated by the Social Welfare Residential Educational Society (TSWREIS).

“We often observe students from poor marginalised background struggling to communicate in English. But, to my astonishment, the TSWREIS students broke this stereotypical image with their extra-ordinary English communication and debating skills,” said V Doddappa, Executive Director of KREIS.

The members were all praise for the efforts of the government in imparting quality education in English medium in government run residential schools.

Secretary, Dr RS Praveen Kumar said ‘we are delighted that the team from Karnataka chose to visit our school. It is a part of the vision of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and G. Jagadish Reddy, Minister for Scheduled Caste Development Department.’.
