Pallavi has evolved into a successful educational institute over the years with 20,000 students spread across Bowenpally, Alwal, Boduppal, Gandipet, Saroornagar& Tivoli. Pallavi International School, Gandipet was established in association with VIF Education society.

Pallavi International school Gandipet organised Malka Lakshmi Memorial All India Open Fide Rating Chess Tournament from May 10 to 14. The Chess tournament provides a platform for students to improve on logical thinking, analytical reasoning and problem solving.

The tournament was inaugurated by lighting of the lamp by G. Vivekanand – Adviser to Govt. of Telangana, and M. Komariah, Chairman Pallavi Group of Schools, Srikanth – Director Operations, and Principal Arogya . There was an overwhelming response of 150 entries. There were groups of participants from different parts of the country and also from UAE and Qatar.

Speaking on the occasion Komariah, Chairman of Pallavi Group of Schools said Pallavi International School focuses on creative teaching, measuring progress of the child, Inculcating values and respect for each other, provides modern world class infrastructure, environmentally friendly and green ambience, well developed sports facility, technology enabled classrooms, global standards of teaching and enthusiastic and passionate teachers in order to ensure finest and quality education.

The curriculum is oriented to bolster the physical, emotional, social and cultural needs of the students. Physical activities like Polo, Horse Riding, skating Swimming, Taekwondo Archery, volley ball ,basket ball and Chess are encouraged to pursue.

Vivekanand appreciated the management for promoting Chess Tournament. He also encouraged the players to play with a gut feeling to win. Around 150 participants registered on the first day of Malka Lakshmi Memorial All India Fide Rated Open Chess Tournament – 2018, Rs.4,05,000/- cash prize will be distributed to the winners on May 14 2018.
