Classroom dynamics helps nation building, individual learning

For the most majority of facilitators around the world the important characteristic of a ‘good’ class is not how hard the students work, but how well they work together. Classroom dynamics is all about the ways the students within a class interact with each other.
For the most majority of facilitators around the world the important characteristic of a ‘good’ class is not how hard the students work, but how well they work together. Classroom dynamics is all about the ways the students within a class interact with each other.
It’s how they talk and how they act; it’s how they show their feelings and opinions; and it’s also about how they behave as a group. The easiest and most academically appropriate way of boosting classroom dynamics is by making sure the students have no time to be bored and instead enjoy the classes. Classroom dynamics are important and keeping them to the right level is more important for students’ health and their overall well-being.
One can offer a balanced learning atmosphere by adopting simple strategies/ techniques and introducing them as part of learning routine. Managing classroom dynamics is also something which talks about significant lesson time.
We all do things in class that are not directly related to learning a subject, but rather are focused on the social aspects of the group, such as managing behaviours, reacting to tensions, and generating interest, are few things. But whatever we do is quite often instinctive and happens ‘in the moment’. It is always a good thing to take a moment and keenly observe the issues in a more mannered way.
Why classroom dynamics is important?
Classroom dynamics as understood are essential for overall development of the child. It keeps the students motivated, helps facilitate learning, appeals to individual learning styles, important for students’ health. There is a fine scope for different learning styles to pitch in which focuses on individual pace of students’ development.
Some students learn by moving around, few by working in team. But all of them have unique talents and interests which should be explored and used during classes. As a facilitator, one should allow the child to think beyond and help them explore the areas they haven’t touch upon till date. Offering a dynamic atmosphere will certainly help the students to achieve this.
There are numerous reasons to establish more focus on classroom dynamics. The cooperative skills and attitudes that are encouraged in students are among those most frequently demanded by today’s recruiters. A home like, warm atmosphere helps people take the risks they need to in order to learn. Shouting and yelling will just spoil the environment of the class and is a strongly believed negative aspect in education. Learning in a more comfortable setup is simply more enjoyable for students and facilitators alike. Life starts to get a little better, at times it could just be a feeling.
How can classroom dynamics be boosted?
Classroom dynamics can be boosted by adopting a few things. Not being partial or dividing the class is most essential thing. Playing class politics is the end of a class, so team work and cooperation become essential element or a tool to boost classroom dynamics. Experimental learning is a dying thing in the society. Not many facilitators encourage experimental learning, but this becomes another core factor for boosting classroom dynamics.
Activity based learning and playing background music or songs at regular intervals. Music heals mental illness and builds a positive aura in the class. Once in a while, slight dance is another good thing to boost the energy levels of a class. Students will in deed feel refreshed and will start treating the facilitator as one among them, which in deed will give more space to a facilitator to deliver better.
Everyone these days is interested in a discussion and brainstorming compare to a lengthy lecture. Having numerous discussions is the key to collective learning which in deed will also build the quality of staying together as a class.
When brainstorming and discussions come into forefront, everyone is engaged is multi conversations or single conversation where every individual gets to talk. Imagine the resonance it produces and think of learning which will take place in an environment of this kind. Such learning is what is needed presently and this also is a part of classroom dynamics.
How can one find out about their classroom dynamics?
There is no prescribed model which fits all. To a great extent, a classroom dynamic is a product of its own content as defined both internally with the uniqueness of its participants (students and facilitators), and externally in the cultural settings of the institution, and the very society in which the setup is located. Classroom dynamics are local.
Certain things work well for one class and the same might not work in another. So, we also need to understand and know to find out what is happening in our class, so we can take the most appropriate actions.
Finally, one should possess a deep observatory skill to observe, and analyse the happenings in the class, based on which classroom dynamics are to be planned and boosted. Classroom dynamics can in need help people learn about the strength of being together, which in deed is a life lesson learned easy. Classroom dynamics will help shape the children and young adults which can be accounted for nation building.
