Sri Vasireddy Vidya Sagar, Chairman of Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology informed that Lakshman Naik Popavath, Assistant Professor in Electrical & Electronics Engineering department, received the prestigious Vikram Sarabhai Life Time Achievement National Award, for his scholarly research in the area of Power Quality Improvement using Shunt Active Filters.

Hyderabad: Sri Vasireddy Vidya Sagar, Chairman of Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology informed that Lakshman Naik Popavath, Assistant Professor in Electrical & Electronics Engineering department, received the prestigious Vikram Sarabhai Life Time Achievement National Award, for his scholarly research in the area of Power Quality Improvement using Shunt Active Filters.

In this regard Sri Sagar informed that Lakshman Naik has enormous thrust towards the innovative research and for his outstanding excellence and remarkable achievements in the field of Teaching, Research and Publications, the IRDP Group of Journals, Chennai, India, has honored him, along with 75 professionals from all over the World out of 5 Lakhs profiles of various experts.

Sri Sagar, congratulated Lakshman Naik Popavath, for his extraordinary feat in Teaching, Research and Publications and wished him reach even more heights in his career. Sri Sagar, also emphasised that EEE branch is an elemental of engineering, in which there is a lot of scope for research, in which Lakshman like Professors will excel with a regimental discipline and smart work that yields fruits for the society.

Y Mallikarjuna Reddy, Principal, VVIT, commended the efforts of Sri Lakshman Naik Popavath, in Teaching-Learning, Research-Development, Publications in top-tier Electrical Journals. Reddy also informed that EEE department in VVIT has optimally qualified faculty with uncompromising laboratory and other necessary resources that help every student and scholar to fulfill their quest for knowledge.
