It was once again a JaspritBumrah show in the Carribeanas the young sensation breathed fire to leave the Windies batting line-up in tatters in the ongoing second Test match in Jamaica. The fast bowler carried his dream form from Antigua and continued to give nightmares to the West Indies batsmen.

Bumrah first struck in his third over when he got the better of John Campbell (2). He then wreaked havoc in the ninth over to account for Darren Bravo (4), Shamarh Brooks (0), and Roston Chase (0) off consecutive deliveries to become the third Indian bowler to take a hat-trick in Test cricket. Earlier, Harbhajan Singh and IrfanPathan had accounted for Test hat-tricks while representing India.

The first of the victims, Darren Bravo, got a peach of a delivery as he nicked it to KL Rahul at 4th slip. Shamarh Brooks and Roston Chase soon followed suit to the pavilion after being trapped in front of the stumps with beautiful inswingers.

Bumrah extended his dream spell to remove Windies opener Kraigg Brathwaite (10) to register a five-wicket haul in just 5.5 overs. The 25-year-old returned later in the day to dismiss West Indies skipper Jason Holder to reduce the hosts to 78-7.

West Indies ended the second day at 87/7, with Debutants RakheemCornwall and Jahmar Hamilton currently occupying the crease. The team trailed India by a massive margin on 329 runs at stumps on day 2.

Earlier in the day, India's innings drew strength from a terrific hundred by HanumaVihari. The middle-order batsman scripted a gritty knock to bring up his maiden Test hundred before being dismissed on 111 by Jason Holder. Vihari had received exceptional support from Ishant Sharma, who notched up his maiden Test fifty and proved to be the thorn in Windies' flesh. Thanks to their partnership of 112 runs, the visitors managed to put on a daunting first innings score of 416 runs.
