Mumbai : Swami Vivekanand International School (SVIS), Kandivali thrashed Bunt Sangha's S.M. Shetty International School, Powai by ten wickets on the second day of the Mumbai Indians Junior cricket tournament at Azad Maidan on Tuesday.

Their dominating victory in the Under-14 category was set up by SVIS bowler Kartik Patankar who grabbed a total of six wickets on the Elphinstone pitch.

Patankar's hostile bowling, which included a hat-trick, broke the back of Bunt Sangha's batting line-up and they were bowled out for a paltry 57 runs in 26.1 overs.

SVIS openers Pranav Sawant and Shaurya Sharan made short work of the chase, reaching the target in just 4.5 overs with Sawant blazing away with an unbeaten 30 while Sharan finished not out on 11. Patankar was later declared Player of the Match.
