Hyderabad: Naveed six-wicket haul fails to avoid Red Hills blushes

Hyderabad: CS Naveed's splendid performance with the ball goes in vain as Tarakarama CC clinched a 60-run victory over Red Hills CC in Hyderabad Cricket Association A Division League match played at latters ground on Sunday.

For hosts Red Hills CC, Naveed claimed six wickets conceding 30 run in 10 overs, including a maiden over to bundle out the visitors for 145 in 32.5 overs. He was well supported by T Harish by taking three wickets giving away 32 runs in the process off 7.5 overs. Manikanta was the top scorer for Tarakarama CC with 35 runs.

Chasing a 146-run victory target, Red Hills CC were off to a disastrous start and wickets began to fall at regular intervals like a house of cards. They managed to take the total to 85 before being all out in 28.3 overs. The bowlers to do the damage were Vikram 5 for 25 and Manikanta 4 for 25.
