Rahul Dravid's elder son Samit has smashed two double hundreds in less than two months. His second one came on Saturday while playing for his school Mallya Aditi International (MAI) in the BTR Shield Under-14 Group I, Division II Tournament.

Samit once again showed his prowess with the bat as he needed only 146 balls to get to the milestone score and his knock was inclusive of 33 boundaries.

Courtesy of Samit's sensational knock, his school posted a total of 377 runs in their quota of 50 overs. In reply to that, Sri Kumaran Children's Academy were bowled out for 110 and Samit's team secured a comfortable 267-run win. The game also witnessed an all-round effort from Samit, who also picked up two wickets.

Dravid's son has become the hot topic of discussion in the cricketing circle for the second time in a small span. Last year in December, Samit had scored 201 while for Vice-President's XI against Dharwad Zone in an Under-14 inter-zonal tournament. In that game, Samit went his father's way as he took his time and scored 201 from 256 balls. En route the score, he hit 22 boundaries. In the other innings, Samit – who was captaining Vice-President XI - was again sharp with the ball as he dismissed three batters.

Dravid is not only one of the greatest players to have played professional cricket. He was a proud owner of India's No. 3 position during his peak years, who went on to record five double hundreds in Tests. He played international cricket for 16 years and ended his career with 13,288 runs in 164 Tests and 10,899 runs in 344 ODIs. 'The Wall' also played a T20I for India before he bowed out of the sport in 2011.
