Rehann, Harsh, Chahat win Hyderabad Qualifiers, make it to National Finals of Cube World Cup
Rehann Rasheed, Harsh Shelwarkar and Chahat Gupta from Hyderabad entered the National finals of the second edition of Red Bull Rubik’s Cube World Cup to be held in Chennai on September 22.
Hyderabad: Rehann Rasheed, Harsh Shelwarkar and Chahat Gupta from Hyderabad entered the National finals of the second edition of Red Bull Rubik's Cube World Cup to be held in Chennai on September 22.
The Hyderabad qualifiers held at Workafella, Western Aqua on Saturday witnessed 18 cube solvers.
In association with Rubik's Brand Limited and supported by the WCA (World Cubing Association) the competition will be played out on four continents in three game modes finding the ultimate Rubik's Cubers.
The World Finals of Red Bull Rubik's Cube World Cup will be held in Moscow, Russia late in November in an event designed to challenge the most accomplished cube solvers in one of the most exhilarating emerging sports.
National qualifiers will produce four winners to go forward to Moscow to compete in the World's Finals on behalf of their home nation to enjoy a truly unique global experience.
They will also have their eyes set on the World Finals prizes: a $30,000 USD prize pool.

Harsh Shelwatkat won Fastest Hand Mixed & Speedo Cubing Mixed. Time: 16.428 (Fastest Hand) 9.257 (Speed Cubing Mixed).
Chahat Gupta won Speed Cubing Female. Time: 20.753.
