Poco M3 to launch today, find the details here

Poco is launching a new smartphone today called Poco M3; the smartphone will join the company's small M series currently featuring M2 and M2 Pro. Poco will present the new phone at a virtual event at 20:00 GMT + 8 (5:30 PM IST). Before the official launch, Poco has already revealed some of the main features of the phone.

As per Poco, M3 will flaunt a 6.53-inch display with a waterdrop-shaped notch on the front. Another official teaser reveals that the phone houses a triple camera setup stacked in a square camera module on the back. One of the sensors will be 48 megapixels. The phone is also confirmed to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor and a 6,000 mAh battery.

Earlier, the trusted leakster Ishan Agarwal had revealed some features of the upcoming M3. As per the leak, the phone will come in bright grey and blue colours with a textured back panel.

The device may house a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It will offer 4GB of RAM. Coming to the software front, it will run on Android 10-based MIUI 12 out of the box. For selfies, Poco M3 could offer an 8-megapixel front camera. The 6000mAh battery will support 18W fast charging.

Currently, there is no information on the availability of the phone in India. But we speculate that the phone may hit Indian shelves soon. Price-wise, the M series has targeted the ₹ 10,000- ₹ 15,000 segment. The M3 may not be any different.
