The dark theme comes to WhatsApp beta once again. WhatsApp was working on dark mode or dark theme for quite some time, and the latest update reveals more changes in the user interface.

The WhatsApp beta update for Android 2.19.327 comes with new images of the dark mode development in the messaging app. The dark mode in WhatsApp is not yet available for public beta users. The latest development in dark mode in WhatsApp is the default "dark" wallpaper, reports WABetaInfo. The dark mode wallpaper for WhatsApp has the same "night blue" colours as seen earlier.

With each beta update, WhatsApp has worked on new development for the dark mode in the messaging appl. Recently WhatsApp implemented the dark splash screen in its beta version. The splash screen is the new home screen with the WhatsApp logo in the centre. The dark mode is now also visible on the WhatsApp splash screen.

So far, WhatsApp has covered all aspects of the app for dark mode. The latest wallpaper in dark mode seems to be possibly the last stage of development in terms of changes in the user interface. This indicates that WhatsApp is very close to releasing the dark mode. WhatsApp beta users typically experience unpublished features before public release. But with the dark mode not available at all in the public domain, WhatsApp could launch it for all users at a time.

Recently WhatsApp Web got the dark mode through a workaround. Users can download the Stylus extension for Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox to implement the dark mode on the WhatsApp web. Although this is not the official dark mode of WhatsApp, interested users can go ahead and start using it.
