WhatsApp has new updates for its Android and iOS app. Some of these updates bring official features to WhatsApp users, whereas some are only available in the beta version. To experience the new features, WhatsApp users can download the latest version of the app.

To begin with WhatsApp for Android, finally, users can enable fingerprint lock on the app. Now the users can lock/unlock WhatsApp using the phone's built-in fingerprint sensor. 2. Tap on the toggle button to enable fingerprint lock, using your fingerprint verify your identity

4. You can then be choosing next to choose notification preview.

Now when we discuss the WhatsApp feature for iPhone users, Netflix trailers are available on Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode. WhatsApp lets users watch videos within the app through PiP mode. This is only possible on Facebook, YouTube and Instagram. The new feature lets iPhone users watch Netflix trailers shared directly from the app. Users need not leave WhatsApp to watch the Netflix trailer. As of now, this feature is only available on WhatsApp for iPhones.

WhatsApp's latest beta updates (via WABetaInfo) for Android and iOS show more development for the much-awaited dark mode. However, it is not available for public beta users still, with every new update WhatsApp dark mode is slowly taking shape. WhatsApp has now enabled splash screen in dark mode. The lock icon on WhatsApp has also been updated for dark mode. For its iPhone app, WhatsApp is also working on two dark themes. The dark themes differ as per the shade of the colour on WhatsApp. There is no confirmation yet about when WhatsApp dark mode will be available for users.
