Warangal: In a bid to explain the issues faced by the SC/ST employees and students of the Kakatiya University (KU) before the SC/ST Commission chairman Errolla Srinivas who is scheduled to visit the varsity on Wednesday, a Round Table Conference was organised on the KU campus here on Monday.

The conference was presided over by the All India Universities Employees Confederation (AIUEC) vice-president Dr Pulla Srinivas. Speaking at the meeting, the KU SC/ST Employees Association president Dr G Hanumanthu and Assistant Professor Dr Esam Narayana said that there are umpteen numbers of issues pertaining to varsity employees and students that need to be addressed quickly.

The leaders called upon the employees to unite to put forward their justifiable demands before the SC/ST Commission chairman Errolla Srinivas.

Further, they urged the employees and students of the varsity to attend the meeting of the SC/ST Commission chairman at the Senate Hall at 11 am on August 28 in large numbers to take their issues to the notice of the chairman.

During the Round Table Conference, the leaders of various unions discussed various long-pending issues related to employees and students.

Leaders V Nandaiah, Y Ravi Kumar (KUTSA), Manda Bhaskar (KSF), B Prashanth (TRSV), D Madhukar, Md Pasha (NSUI), G Rishi (TSFI), V Madhukar (MSF), R Rajesh (PSF), K Prashanth (BSF), A Sathish (PFI), mahipal, J Ravi, K Rakesh, N Aravind and K Sekhar were among others present.
