1 dead in bus-lorry collision in Bhupalpally

Bhupalpally: One person was killed and 10 others sustained injuries when a TSRTC bus collided with a lorry laden with sand at a turn near Annaram village under Mahadevpur mandal onFriday.

According to reports, a bus heading to Kaleshwarm bumped into a lorry. It's learnt that there were about 40 passengers on the bus when the mishap occurred. Panaganti Sammaiah (40) who sustained grievous injuries died while undergoing treatment at the government hospital in Mahadevpur.

It's learnt that bus driver M Satish lost control over the wheel when he tried to negotiate a pothole on the road and rammed into the lorry. Bus conductor Shobha Rani was also injured in the mishap.
