11 held for highway murder in Sangareddy

Around 11 people were arrested on Tuesday in connection with a murder that took place on National Highway 65 at Rudraram village 18 days ago.

Mohammed Mehboob Hussain (30) was hacked to death on the road while he was on his way to Hyderabad after attending court proceedings in Sangareddy. Mehboob who was prime accused in the murder of one Arshad was chased and brutally hacked to death on May 31.

It is learned that the Mehboob was killed in revenge of the murder in which he was the accused. He is resident of Bholakpur in Musheerbad.

The Patancheru police arrested them and said that another three people are still at large. The police recovered two cars, a sickle, a dagger and Rs 50,000 cash.
