The farmer, a native of Suraram village said that a loss of Rs 20 lakh incurred due to the sudden death of the chicken due to the disease. A veterinary doctor examined the farm and shifted the dead chicken to Hyderabad for tests. The doctor told the farmers to bury the chicken instead of throwing them to prevent the spread of the disease.
