Two people were arrested on Saturday by the Abids police for stealing mobile phones and bikes. The police said that they were involved in theft cases in Kukatpally and Bhavani Nagar.

The arrested were identified as Mohammad Irfan Ali (24) and Mohammad Abdul Razaaq (26). The police said that the accused had stolen a motorcycle from Kukatpally and removed the number plate.
The duo also snatched a mobile phone from a college student in December.
The police traced the accused with the help of footage from 60 surveillance cameras and arrested them.
