Two people were killed and seven others suffered serious injuries after the car they were in collided head-on with a lorry on Friday morning here at Sangareddy. The two died on the spot while the others were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
All the victims are the residents of Mehdipatnam. The mishap took place when they were heading to Bodhan to attend a marriage. The police registered a case and are probing into it.
Meanwhile, the bodies of the deceased were shifted for an autopsy. The victims are yet to be identified.
