20 days after marriage, techie dies under suspicious circumstances in Hyderabad

A woman who got married against her parents' will has been found dead under suspicious circumstances at Sanath Nagar late on Tuesday night.

Purnima, who was working as a software engineer married her boyfriend Dasari Karthik 20 days ago and the couple was residing at Sanathnagar. However, she was found dead at her home.

Purnima's parents informed the police about their daughter's death and alleged that Karthik has killed her daughter and is trying to create it as a suicide. They staged a protest in front of the Sanath Nagar police station demanding justice to her daughter.

The police registered a case and shifted the body to Gandhi Hospital for an autopsy.
