20-yr-old woman commits suicide in hyderabad

Hyderabad: A 20-year-old woman of Nagamayyakunta under Chikkadpally police station committed suicide on Thursday night.

According to police, the woman lost her mother ten-years-ago and was living with her father, who is a watchman in a local cinema theatre.

Family members suspected that she was depressed over her family financial crisis and was worried that her marriage expenses would become burden on her father, who earns a meagre income.

On receipt of information, police registered a case and shifted her body to Gandhi hospital for autopsy. The police handed over her body to her family members on Friday afternoon.
