Around 32 gates out of the total 42 crest gates of Sriramsagar project have been lifted to release 1.25 lakh cusecs of water to the downstream.
Around 32 gates out of the total 42 crest gates of Sriramsagar project have been lifted to release 1.25 lakh cusecs of water to the downstream. The current inflow of water is 1.19 lakh cusecs.
Due to the heavy rains, the Lendi, Purna, Mannar and Asna projects in Maharashtra are filled to the brim following the gates were lifted, releasing the water to Sriramsagar project.
The current water level is 83.253 ft as against its total capacity 1091 ft.
