Celebrating the 77th Quit India Movement day, Greater Warangal Congress Committee President Katla Srinivas Rao hoisted the flag of the Congress party at party office in Hanamkonda.

Warangal: Celebrating the 77th Quit India Movement day, Greater Warangal Congress Committee President Katla Srinivas Rao hoisted the flag of the Congress party at party office in Hanamkonda.

Speaking on the occasion, Srinivas Rao said the Quit India Movement, which was started in the month of August was disobedience movement against the British throughout the country as part of Indian freedom struggle. The movement was led by slogan Do or Die, which was completely under non-violence.

Also, the All India Youth Congress's inauguration day was held at the District Congress Office under the auspices of Warangal Parliament Youth Congress President Gottimukkula Ramakanth. Ramakanth hoisted the flag of the Youth Congress on this occasion and congratulated the youth Congress activists.

He said Youth Congress will be the backbone of the Congress party forever. Former Mayor Errabelli Swarna, Former MLA Kondeti Sridhar and TPCC General Secretary Srinivas and Youth Congress leaders were also present on the event.
