9 bikes set ablaze in Hyderabad

Nine bikes were set on fire by an unidentified assailant in the wee hours on Saturday under Habeeb Nagar police station limits here in the city.

According to the police, Mohammad Ghouse, a resident of Dhobi Ghat set the nine parked vehicles ablaze around 5.30 am. The police registered a case based on the complaint lodged by the owners of the bikes. The police arrested Ghouse and sent him to remand.

In a similar incident, an unidentified youth set three bikes on fire at Vasai West of Mumbai earlier this week. According to the CCTV footage at the area, the accused was shown fleeing the spot after setting the bikes on fire.
