9 injured in auto-lorry collision in Bhadradri

Nine people suffered serious injuries in the auto-lorry collision that occurred in Bhadradri Kothagudem district on Saturday. The injured were shifted to a local hospital for treatment.

The incident occurred at Kudumulapadu mandal of Ashwaraopet in the district when the auto and lorry collided head-on. The police registered a case and are investigating.

Earlier in the day, two people were killed and another injured when the car they were travelling in collided with a stationary lorry. Balreddy and Narasimha died on the spot while Shankar suffered severe injuries. The accident occurred in Hyderabad when the trio was going to Shamshabad from Gachibowli.

The injured, Shankar was undergoing treatment in a private hospital.
