DYFI representatives observed 91st birth anniversary of Che Guevara, an Argentine Marxist revolutionary, physician, author, guerrilla leader, diplomat and military theorist here on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, DYFI general secretary Tirupathi said that today the world is commemorating the works of the biggest social reformers, whose ideas had changed the way global intellects look for development.

Che Guevara, who was a doctor by profession, always thought of the underprivileged, poor and helpless people of the society. He had developed revolutionary attitude at young age and later became an imminent revolutionary leader.

Che Guevara played an instrumental role in uniting the underprivileged sections of the society. The society that was filled with hunger-driven people, the society discriminated by corporates and the society, where people cry for rights.

The youth and doctors of the present generation must take Che Guevara as an inspiration and must come forward to fight against inequality and

discrimination and the doctors must serve the helpless poor patients, Tirupathi appealed.

DYFI representatives D Naresh Patil, Ravi, Raju Naik, Teju, Mallesh, Srinivas, Sampath and Rathod were present along with others.
