ACB nets Huzurnagar municipal official

The sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau on Tuesday caught J Nagaiah, Senior Assistant of Huzurnagar municipality red-handedly at his office while he was accepting a bribe of Rs 8,000 from Chilakraju Saidulu, a native of Huzurnagar to process his application for the allotment of house number. Officials recovered the bribe amount after conducting chemical tests.
Huzurnagar (Suryapet): The sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau on Tuesday caught J Nagaiah, Senior Assistant of Huzurnagar municipality red-handedly at his office while he was accepting a bribe of Rs 8,000 from Chilakraju Saidulu, a native of Huzurnagar to process his application for the allotment of house number. Officials recovered the bribe amount after conducting chemical tests.
Nagaiah was arrested in order to be produced before the special court for ACB cases in Hyderabad. Nalgonda ACB DSP Anand Kumar said, in case of demand of bribe by any employee of the municipality department, the public should contact toll free number of ACB 1064 for taking action as per the law.
