Hyderabad: Hyderabad City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar interacted with all the 122 Patrol Vehicle officers of Hyderabad City at Nizam College Grounds and also inspected all the Patrol Vehicles on Saturday.
The best patrol Officers who performed well in respect of alertness, quick response, good workdone and maintenance of patrol vehicles have been issued Appreciation Letters to the police personnel's of Police Stations Viz., Malakpet, Langer House, Nampally, Nallakunta, Mahankali, Jubile Hills,Asifnagar, Panjagutta, Lalaguda, Gopalpuram, Kalapathar, Bowenpally, Tirumalgherry, Chandryangutta, Nampally, Sultan Bazar, Banjara Hills, Charminar, Osmania University, Madannapet, Bahadurpura.
While addressing the gathering, the Police Commissioner officers stated that all the patrol officers should adhere to the primary responsibilities of attending to all emergencies in a shortest possible time; Carrying out Crime Prevention Activities; Conducting Regular Checking/ Surveillance over all repeat offenders residing in their respective PS jurisdiction; Collecting Criminal Intelligence for timely crime prevention; Organizing Community Policing Activities for improving Police image and visible policing.
There are 122 Patro Cars and the average reaching time of patro cars to the spot in Hyderabad City is around 7 minutes. During the year patrol vehicles attended 1,96,206 emergency calls and daily average movement of the vehicles altogether is 14000 kilometers.
