Amit Shah public meet organised in Hyd to take on anti-CAA forces: BJP
State BJP chief Dr K Laxman said Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be addressing a pro-CAA public meeting in the city on March 15 as the fundamental anti-CAA forces are playing their communal politics from Hyderabad.
Hyderabad: State BJP chief Dr K Laxman said Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be addressing a pro-CAA public meeting in the city on March 15 as the fundamental anti-CAA forces are playing their communal politics from Hyderabad.
Addressing a round table meeting organised by the party BC Morcha here on Sunday, he asked the BC leaders and intellectuals from different walks of life to defeat the false propaganda on the CAA.
He said that Congress, left parties, Majlis and TRS have been playing divisive politics and provoking people fearing their political future is at stake. Laxman accused the Majlis of playing the role of the Rajakars with the support of the TRS.
The Hyderabad MP is questioning the State police for taking action against the Rohingyas for illegally obtaining Aadhaar cards, passports, election identity cards. "Should people of the State remain mute spectators for all such illegal activities," he asked.
Citing the controversial statements of TRS MLA A Gandhi, the BJP leader asked Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and TRS working president KT Rama Rao to spell out the stand of their party on providing citizenship to the Pakistani Muslims.
KTR takes to twitter to tweet on several issues. But, "the twitter parrot is conspicuously silent to the Majlis chief questioning the State police and the controversial statement of his own party MLA," he said.
He said that several political parties in the opposition are not able to digest the reality that how Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have been resolving the complicated and nagging issues bothering the country for the last 70 years.
They fear that this might hit their political opportunism, appeasement politics in future and trying to discredit and malign the BJP government by spreading false propaganda, he said.
