Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy cautioned the public to be alert against the divisive forces that try to disturb communal harmony in the State.
Halia (Nalgonda): Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy cautioned the public to be alert against the divisive forces that try to disturb communal harmony in the State. On Saturday, along with Rajya Sabha Member Lingaiah Yadav and MLC Chinnappa Reddy, he distributed clothes to poor Christians at Halia in Nagarjuna Sagar constituency.
Addressing the gathering, the Minister stated that respecting all religions, the TRS government has been providing clothes to poor people belonging to Hindu, Muslim and Christian religions on their festivals. Stating that the State government led by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was most effective and became a role model for other States in the country, he said people of other States are expecting similar people-friendly governance like that of Telangana in their States.
District Collector Prashanth Jeevan Patil, Rythu Bandhu committee district president Islavath Ramachandra Naik and Christian women in large numbers participated in the programme.
