Hyderabad: As leaders are quite enthusiastic to contest in the rural local body elections, more than one candidate has filed nominations for each seat from Congress and TRS in the first phase of polls to the Zilla Parishad Territorial Constituencies (ZPTC) and Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituencies (MPTC).
They are hopeful of getting the official nomination of the party and remained in the fray. The actual candidates of the main parties would be known after the announcement of the official nominees by the State Election Commission.
