The Central Election Committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party, headed by BJP National President Amit Shah, on Thursday announced candidates for 10 out of 17 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana State.

Hyderabad : The Central Election Committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party, headed by BJP National President Amit Shah, on Thursday announced candidates for 10 out of 17 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana State.

The BJP has dropped sitting MP from Secunderabad constituency and replaced him with ex-MLA G. Kishan Reddy. Former minister D.K. Aruna, who has recently switched over from Congress to BJP, has been named as candidate from Mahabubnagar seat. Similarly, D. Arvind, son of TRS Rajya Sabha MP D. Srinivas has been given ticket from Nizamabad. MLC N. Ramchandra Rao will be candidate from Malkajgiri seat. The other candidates are: Karimnagar - Bandi Sanjay; Nagarkurnool (SC) - Bangaru Shruthi; Nalgonda - Garlapati Jithender Kumar; Bhongir - P V Shamsunder Rao; Warangal - Chinta Sambamurthy and Mahabubabad - Jatothu Hussain Naik.
