KCR announces Rs 10 lakh to each family
Chintamadaka: It was a bonanza for the dwellers of Chintamadaka village, the native place of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao in Siddipet district.
KCR who spent his day talking to the people of the village announced Rs 10 lakh to each family. The beneficiaries can use the fund for any income-generating self-employment scheme of their choice.
The Chief Minister said every family in the village is eligible to avail the Rs 10 lakh benefit scheme.
The beneficiaries can start one, two or three activities by utilising the money on their own. The government will not force the beneficiaries to take up any particular scheme.
He suggested to the villagers to go in for dairy and allied activities as it would give them good returns in a short time. The financial benefit scheme will be launched in a month.
The officials were instructed to ensure that not a single family was left out under the scheme. The families who migrated for livelihood will also be brought back to the village and the benefit would be extended to them.
Showering the sops on the village, including the developmental works costing nearly Rs 400 crore, the Chief Minister asked the officials to complete the works in six months and he along with his family members will visit the village again and attend the inauguration of function halls, road development works and house warming ceremonies. About 1500 to 2000 double bed room houses will be allotted for all the families.
He requested the villagers to shed the differences and join hands for the development of the village and promote it as a role model in the state. In addition, the CM announced that the District Collector will have access to Rs 50 crore that will be used for the village development exclusively. The Chief Minister also announced Rs 25 crore for the development of Siddipet town, Rs 10 crore for the Dubbaka municipality.
Going nostalgic, KCR recollected his childhood days in the village and how he struggled hard to pursue studies with the limited available resources. The TRS supremo recalled his school days. He had studied in the neighbouring Guduru, Tornala, Dubbaka and Pulluru villages.
