Centre to enquire on Telangana encounter

While the entire country is praising the Telangana police on the encounter of the four accused in Disha case, the Union Home Ministry is set to launch a probe on the encounter.

It asked the Telangana government to submit all the details related to the encounter to produce them to the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC).

The Telangana police encountered the four accused when they tried to escape from the police while recreating the crime scene at Shadnagar. The police claimed that the accused snatched their guns and fired at them, trying to flee from the spot.

The police retaliated and gunned down them, it is said.
