City conductor ends life

Hyderabad: One more striking conductor of the TSRTC allegedly committed suicide on Sunday. B Surender Goud, an RTC conductor residing at Kulsumpura and belonging to the Ranigunj depot, allegedly committed suicide by consuming pesticide on Sunday.

The conductor was actively taking part in the protest programmes of the ongoing RTC strike. Surender Goud had taken a loan from private financiers and he could not pay the instalment of this month. The financiers informed him about the cheque bounce.

Worried about his job, he consumed pesticide, said relatives. He was rushed to a private hospital and was declared brought dead, said RTC union leaders.
