Hyderabad: In the wake of strong demand from the entire country to ban Chinese goods, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi not to take any hasty decision. The Chief Minister suggested the PM to prepare long-term and short-term strategies to counter the China aggressive attitude on India.

Participating in the video-conference chaired by Modi with political party heads, KCR said the goods that we are importing now should be first made in India. These goods should be available to the people at reasonable price before going in for the ban.

KCR said while there is no need to bow our head, what India requires is a war strategy and not Raj Neethi. The CM felt that the China became jealous that there is a stable and strong governance in the country and the country is becoming a very strong economic force to reckon with and hence the provocation from its side.

"It is necessary to have strategic partnership with countries, which are friendly with us. We should join the 'D10' group as suggested by the UK. We should also join the Oran alliance to repel the Huawei Company's strategy," he informed Modi.

KCR observed that China became unpopular as it was considered to be responsible for the spread of coronavirus. Several multi-national corporations are shifting out from China. They are now looking at India. According to the World Bank report, India went up from 142 position to 63 position in ease of doing business. In India investor-friendly policies are being implemented effectively. Foreign Direct Investments are also on the increase. From 2014 to 2017, the FDI was increased from 36 billion dollars to 61 billion dollars. There is a possibility of further increase in FDIs. Several people are ready to shift their companies from China to Telangana state. China is not happy with this, the CM further explained.

India is desiring to become Atma Nirbhar Bharat (Self-reliant India), while China wanted India to be Anya Nirbhar Bharat (Indian dependent on others). China is unable to tolerate India's growth and progress, he said.
