Hyderabad: Special Secretary to Chief Minister K Bhoopal Reddy has issued instructions to officials concerned that in Yadadri, except the symbols related to the God and the temple, no other symbols should be allowed to be there.

Bhoopal Reddy has expressed his anger at the way certain political leaders illustrations, party symbols being carved in the structures and constructions at Yadadri where the temple revival program is on.

When YTDA Special Officer Kishan Rao and Art Director Ananda Sai met Bhoopal Reddy at Pragathi Bhavan here on Saturday evening, Bhoopal Reddy asked them under whose instructions and direction that pictures of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, Indira Gandhi and Mahatma Gandhi portraits and symbols of certain political parties were engraved as part of the constructions.

The YTDA officials replied that they have not given any instructions to carve the portraits of the political leaders and party symbols and that one or two sculptors did the work on their own and as per their wish.

They explained that the CM himself never wanted his portrait to be carved in the Temple vicinity.

The CM wanted pictures portraying the importance and greatness of the temple and spiritual related pictures should be carved and engraved in the temple's vicinity.

Bhoopal Reddy instructed all the pictures of political leaders and party symbols and other such objectionable material should be taken off forthwith.
