Collector RV Karnan calls for speedy disbursal of land passbooks in Khammam
District Collector RV Karnan conducted a review meeting with the Tahsildars of all mandals in the district at the Collectorate on Friday and reviewed various pending issues.
Khammam: District Collector RV Karnan conducted a review meeting with the Tahsildars of all mandals in the district at the Collectorate on Friday and reviewed various pending issues. He discussed the issues of court, pending passbooks, land acquisition and other land issues in the meeting.
Directing the Tahsildars to clear all pending files, the Collector ordered them to distribute pending passbooks to the farmers and stated that no passbook should not kept in the office.
He enquired about the issue of opencast mines in Kistaram village of Sathupalli mandal with the Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) General Manager CH Narasimha Rao, who also attended the meeting. The GM explained in detail about the mining at the Kistaram opencast.
District Joint Collector Anurag Jayanthi, Assistant Collector Hanumanth Kodimbha, Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Priyanka, Kallur Revenue Divisional Officer Sivaji, Special Deputy Collector Dasaradh and other officials attended the meeting.
