Collector supervises EVM, VVPAT distribution

Mahbubnagar: District Collector Ronald Rose supervised and inspected the EVM and VVPAT distribution at Mahbubnagar, Kodangal, Shadnagar and Jadcherla election distribution spots and gave clear instructions to the election staff that they do their duties with commitment and sincerity and ensure that the Lok Sabha elections were held in a peaceful manner without any discrepancies on the part of the officials.

Speaking to the election staff at the NTR Degree College on Wednesday, the Collector gave them clear instructions and advised them to inform the higher ups immediately with regard to any EVM or VVPAT related technical issues or with regard to any disturbance during the elections.

"We have made all arrangements elaborately for Thursday's elections. The election staff along with the polling equipment has been dispatched to all their respective polling stations in all the seven Assembly constituencies. The police department has also made fool proof security measures at the polling stations and those polling stations which are identified as troublesome have been beefed up with extra security. Overall, we are expecting these elections will be held peacefully. I urge the voters to participate in the election process and cast their vote to choose the best leader who can lead the country on the right path of growth and development," said Ronald Rose.
