Congress to take up padayatra to highlight peoples issues in Peddapalli
After preparing an action plan, the Congress will launch padayatra to fight against the State government on various public issues pertaining to all the wards in the Peddapalli municipality, stated Gottimukkula Suresh Reddy.
Peddapalli: After preparing an action plan, the Congress will launch padayatra to fight against the State government on various public issues pertaining to all the wards in the Peddapalli municipality, stated Gottimukkula Suresh Reddy.
Speaking to the media at his residence in Peddapalli on Monday, G Suresh Reddy criticised the TRS of deceiving the people of Telangana with false promises. It didn't fulfil any of its poll promises till today and trying to divert the attention of the people with its mesmerising words, he added.
The ruling TRS never bothered about the problems which the people are facing and did not take any initiation for their development. It is trying to dissolve various sectors present in the State and spending time without implementing the schemes properly. The construction works of double bedroom houses is going on at a snail's pace, he pointed out.
Suresh Reddy alleged that the government had allotted land for the construction of TRS party office for a very low price at abadi lands in the Market Yard. Is the government going to allot the same land for the construction of houses for poor people? he questioned.
To expose various public issues present in the wards under Peddapalli municipality, the Congress will take up padayatra in every division and an action plan will be prepared to organise the yatra successfully, he informed.
TPCC secretary Bushanveni Ramesh Goud, party leaders Fayaz, Bonkuri Surendar Sunny and Theegala Ashok were present along with others.
