Cops to crack whip on illegal parking

Hyderabad: In view of Lok Sabha Elections, Additional CP, Traffic Anil Kumar on Monday reviewed illegal parking of vehicles creating traffic congestion in the city.

He instructed all officers that parking should not be allowed in front of establishments and strict action should be taken against the establishments for allowing parking in front of their shops.

Cases shall be booked along with photograph, date and time. Additional CP issued instructions to all the officers to start enforcement from Tuesday onwards on illegal parking on the roads.

He said that bollards will be built to stop two-wheeler movement on the footpaths. He also said that the vehicles which ply on the footpaths will be seized.
